Individual organisations will break down the propaganda:
In the case of al-Qaeda (AQ) and the Islamic State (IS), the central leadership, official branches and provinces will be included.
Then, independent jihadist groups, which have alliances and relations with other jihadist groups but which have independent operations and propaganda, will be included.
Finally, there are the jihadist tactical groups.

Al-Qaeda (AQ)
Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, also known as “Ansar al-Sharia” (AQAP), published the eleventh issue of its inflammatory magazine “Inspire Guide”, in Arabic and English through its official media outlet, al-Malahem. The issue focused on the attack in front of the Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester, UK, in early October, which killed two people and injured others.
The magazine described the attack as a “response to British support for Israel”, offering a lengthy account of the perpetrator of the operation, Jihad al-Shami, a young British man of Syrian origin who was killed during the action.
The issue includes analysis of what the group calls the “political and social dimensions” of the event, criticising the British position on the conflict in Gaza and accusing the government and Western media of “ignoring the suffering of the Palestinians”.
In the magazine, AQAP encourages its supporters and militants in the West to carry out similar attacks, arguing that they are “in defence of Muslims”, thus continuing the magazine’s line of promoting what it calls “individual jihad” or “lone wolves” within Western countries.
The magazine devotes a significant portion of its editorials to what it calls “analysis and development of the attack”, in line with its propaganda and operational strategy that seeks to exploit world events to justify violence and expand its influence.
This issue follows the same editorial line as the previous one, which focused on the attack carried out by Mohammed Sabri Suleiman in the state of Colorado, USA, last June, reflecting a growing trend in the group’s discourse to justify individual violence in the West and link it to the Palestinian cause as part of a media strategy aimed at stimulating empathy and attracting new supporters.
Ansar al-Sharia (Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula - AQAP) has stated what is happening to the people of Sudan, accusing Arab rulers of participating in systematic crimes against the Sudanese people.
The group expressed its “deep sorrow and great regret” for the crimes committed against the Sudanese people, stating that these crimes were perpetrated, in their words, by “Arab rulers”, emphasising that after the Israeli Army’s crimes against the people of Gaza subsided, Arab rulers had, in their view, inaugurated “a new wave of crimes” against the people of Sudan.
The group believed that the ongoing crimes in Sudan were an extension of a Jewish plan to change the map of the Middle East in their favour, building what they called “Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates” by triggering wars in the region using “mercenary tools”, as they called them, to destabilise security, create chaos and prepare a favourable environment for this plan.
AQAP officially announces that its objective will be to target the interests of the United Arab Emirates, calling on its citizens inside and outside the country, as well as residents, to immediately begin operations against the UAE government.
Ansar al-Sharia (AQAP) has published a new article attacking Riyadh bin Shuab al-Nahdi.
According to the article, al-Nahdi’s projects in Yemen have led to corruption and have accused him of “acting as agents of states allied with the United States”. According to the AQAP article, Al-Nahdi “has forged relationships with multiple parties, from the Houthis to some Gulf governments, in search of financial support to fight al-Qaeda”.
The article concludes by stating that Riyadh Al-Nahdi “has become a tool in the service of projects to fragment Yemen and tear apart its social fabric”, believing that his movement “receives support from countries that do not want stability in Yemen”.
The Ansar al-Sharia group (al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula - AQAP) has released a new video entitled “Sudan, the forgotten wound of the nation”, which discusses what AQAP calls “brutal atrocities” committed by Rapid Support Forces (RSF) backed by the United Arab Emirates in the city of El-Fasher in western Sudan.
The video accuses the international community of “silence and indifference” and states that “salvation from these tragedies can only come through jihad”.
The video also includes a speech by the group’s former leader, Qasim al-Rimi, who was killed in a US raid in the province of Marib in January 2020, in which he states that “jihad is the solution”.
The video also shows images of military operations conducted by AQAP against the forces of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) supported by the UAE.
AQAP also claims that the activities of the United Arab Emirates in Yemen are linked to the bloody atrocities in Sudan.
Az-Zallaqa Media, Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM), released a 1:30-minute video showing an attack on two Malian army camps in the San area, in the Ségou region. Mali
Az-Zallaqa Media, Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM), issued 15 statements and 15 photos, claiming 30 attacks.
The targets of the attacks were: the Malian Army, Dozo militia, Russian PMC Africa Corps, Burkinabé Army, and VDP militia.
The areas of the attacks were :
1) Kayes region, Gao region, Sikasso region; in Mali
2) Sanmatenga province, Yatenga province, Mouhoun province, Gourma province, Poni province, Séno province, Sissili province; in Burkina Faso.

JNIM has released a video message via its new media platform “Minbar al-Bayan” delivered by leader Ahmed al-Ansari in the Koromba language, addressed to members of the Koromba ethnic group in northern Burkina Faso, urging them to abandon the self-defence militias (VDP) loyal to the Burkinabe military junta.
Al-Ansari warned militia members that the person who involved them in this conflict is leader Ladji Yoro, stressing that their fate will be no different from his, given that Yoro was killed in an ambush between Wahigouya and Tiato in 2021.
The message is part of the group’s recruitment and media influence campaigns aimed at targeting local militias and pushing them to break ties with the military authority.
Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has published the October 2025 issue of its magazine “Nawa’i Ghazwat al-Hind”.
The new 105-page issue includes intellectual, military and media material reflecting the organisation’s view of the conflict in the region.
It contains articles on the future of jihad in Syria, Palestine, Islamophobia in India, criticism of the UAE, the future of Pakistan, etc.
Islamic State (IS)
The official media of the Islamic State published 1 issue of the weekly al-Naba this week (520). Issue 520, eight pages long, covers the week of 8 to 14 Jumada al Awwal 1447, from 30 October to 5 November 2025. The main infographic summarises the areas affected by military operations during the week mentioned above: Nigeria, Cameroon, Somalia, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
IS claims to have conducted 22 operations in all the mentioned areas and to have caused 105 deaths and injuries (for more details, read here).
The Amaq news agency, the official mouthpiece of Islamic State, has released a lengthy statement claiming responsibility for a violent clash between ISCAP and joint Ugandan and Congolese army troops in the Lubero area of North Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The statement claims that ISCAP militants killed and wounded 27 soldiers.
The Amaq News Agency, the official media of the Islamic State, released a lengthy statement claiming to have carried out a major ambush against Puntland Security Forces in the administrative region of Bari. Somalia
