From 1 to 8 April

A weekly newsletter that collects the main propaganda of Jihadist organizations and groups, from 1 to 8 April in one publication.

Propaganda will be divided into individual organizations:

In the case of al-Qaeda (AQ) and the Islamic State (IS), central leadership and official branches and provinces will be included.

In the case of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the propaganda of HTS, those of the Liwa/Brigades belonging to its circle, and those relating to the Syrian Salvation Government (SSG) governing the areas under HTS control will be published.

Later, a section will be devoted to groups that are integrated into the Liwa of HTS but publish independent propaganda.

This will be followed by groups aligned with HTS (operationally and militarily, they coordinate with the “al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room” of HTS or they respect the policies of HTS), but not integrated with it.

Then there will be the independent groups, i.e. those that even though they have alliances and close relations with other jihadist groups, have independent operations and propaganda.

Finally, there will be the Jihadist tactical groups.

This issue features all the main propaganda material from:

• al-Qaeda:

(AQC, AQAP, JNIM, AQIS, Al-Shabaab);

• Islamic State:

(1 issue al-Naba, official IS material, pro-IS materials)

• Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS):

(Brigade/Liwa and the SSG)

• Jihadist groups integrated into Liwa HTS but with independent propaganda:

(Tavhid vo Jihad Uzbek, Harakat Muhajirin Ahl-Sunnat Iran);

• Jihadist groups aligned with HTS:

(Ahrar al-Sham, Ansar al-Tawhid)

• Independent Jihadist groups:

(Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) Ansar al-Islam);

1. Al-Qaeda (AQ)

Al-Qaeda Central (AQC), As-Sahab Media, published the ninth issue of its flagship magazine “One Ummah”. The 65-page magazine deals mainly with Afghanistan and the Middle East. The criticism of the countries that are normalising relations with Israel and Bashar al-Assad’s Syria is of particular interest.

Other articles include a section exploring the concept of armed jihad in the poetry of Allama Iqbal and an article targeting the ISKP claiming that it is an ally of the United States and the former Afghan government.

Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) released two statements and three photos, referring to the “Arrows of Truth” campaign, to claim two attacks against militias aligned with the STC and the UAE in the Abyan governorate, Yemen.

Az-Zallaqa Media, Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM), released 3 statements and 3 photos to claim 4 military operations against the Malian army and the Malian financial gendarmerie.

The areas of the attacks were: Farabana, Sanakoro and Zambogou, near Bamako, Koulikoro region; between Dogofry and Farabogo, Segou region and in Bala, Sikasso region.
