On 7 October 2023, the military wing of Hamas, the al-Qassam Brigades, in coordination with other Palestinian armed factions based in the Gaza Strip launched the military operation “Al-Aqsa Flood”, a surprise attack against military positions, bases and kibbutzim in Israeli territory and Israeli-occupied areas. The attacks, which lasted continuously for 25 days, were simultaneous and coordinated, using different types of operations: thousands of rockets, air raids with ULMs, direct assaults, sea assaults, etc., followed by the land attack by the Israeli army against Gaza.
One will immediately notice that most of the propaganda comes from the al-Qassam Brigades and the al-Quds Brigades. This should not be misleading, as the other groups still actively participate in the battle, but are less active in terms of propaganda.
Declarations by military spokespersons are excluded.
In this analysis, the main propaganda of Palestinian armed groups will be shown, operating both in attacks on Israel and in the defence of the Gaza Strip:
1. Izz al-Din Qassam Brigades (military wing of Hamas).
2. Al-Quds Brigades (military wing Palestinian Islamic Jihad).
3. Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades (military wing Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine).
4. Omar al-Qassim Martyr National Resistance Brigades (military wing Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine).
5. Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades (military wing Popular Resistance Committees).
6. Mujaheddin Brigades (military wing of Palestinian Mujaheddin Movement)

Hamas released a detailed explanation for their Oct 7 attack. I've posted it at https://mikehampton.substack.com/p/oct-7-hamas-tells-their-side-of-the and I'm making the exception to post this message on a dozen substacks. I'm not self-promoting. Delete my comment. Thanks.
