Structure of the analysis:
Individual organisations will break down the propaganda:
In the case of al-Qaeda (AQ) and the Islamic State (IS), the central leadership, official branches and provinces will be included.
Then, independent jihadist groups, which have alliances and relations with other jihadist groups but which have independent operations and propaganda, will be included.
Finally, there are the jihadist tactical groups.

Al-Qaeda (AQ)
Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), known locally as Ansar al-Sharia, has released a lengthy statement claiming responsibility for a complex attack against the Security Belt Forces (SBF) in Abyan governorate.
The statement claims that AQAP militants launched the attack on an SBF military compound at around 7:30 a.m., when three of its militants launched a surprise attack on the guards at the gate of the government compound, paving the way for the fourth attacker to detonate a car bomb (SVBIED) at the entrance to the building, destroying large parts of it.
The statement added that the three attackers continued to storm the compound with their automatic weapons and explosive belts in an attack that lasted about an hour and a half, which the group said killed and wounded about 25 soldiers.
The group said the operation was part of what it called “continuing to counter the agents of external agendas”, threatening further attacks and confirming that “the caravans of martyrs and infiltrators will continue until the purification of the Arabian Peninsula”. Yemen
